CTA’s California Educator magazine is an award-winning bimonthly publication that keeps you informed about issues and trends in education, teaching, student learning, legislation and policy, and local and state association activities and accomplishments.
The magazine showcases CTA members, both inside and outside of school. It includes news about conferences, events and resources, and offers tips and tools for your professional development and growth. The Educator’s content reflects CTA’s commitment to ensuring a quality public education for all students.

- Photos must have identifications and permissions.
- We publish first-person essays of about 650 words in our “Your Voice” section; these are your views on life and work as an educator “in the trenches” or specific experiences with your students and colleagues.
- We publish freelance articles on occasion, but prefer that you contact us first.
